Good morning SLDA family! In accordance with the changes to state mask requirements for healthcare facilities we are evolving our office mask policies. We no longer require all patients and staff to be masked as they enter and leave our office, though we encourage respect for those who choose to continue to mask! We also ask that if you have a tickle in your throat from a non-microbial source (thanks spring pollen) you mask while you're here to keep everyone comfortable. As always, if you're sick we will reschedule your appointment for you. We look forward to seeing your faces here soon!

Hi SLDA patients! This is a less exciting update - but please be patient with us as we experience some computer and scheduling software issues. We’re working around the clock to get them fixed, but know that it may be a little slower for us to get you scheduled.

As this Summer comes to a close we've got exciting updates to share over the coming week.

First - as many of you know we've got a new SLDA family member. Dr. Samia welcomed her first child, Frank, in July. He's busy reading books, sleeping in the dental chair, and keeping his parents up all night. While they recover in the coming weeks we're lucky to have the extremely talented Dr. Akimoto to deliver the top notch care you deserve. Dr. Akimoto is a specialty trained prosthodontist, affiliate faculty at UW, and is known at the office for her kindness and high standards for dental care.

We can't wait for you to meet them both!
