You may have heard that we're making a few changes to our locations to better serve our patients. We will be closing our Carrollton, Gainesville, Hiram, Lithonia, Madison, McDonough, Rome, and Tucker locations. These locations will be open until June 30 for emergency services and braces removal (debanding) appointments only.

Our patients are welcome to continue their orthodontic treatment at one of our remaining seven locations. We will honor any existing financial agreements in these offices. Orthodontic Care of Georgia looks forward to continuing to serve your family! If you have specific questions about your treatment, please contact your local Orthodontic Care of Georgia office.

Meet our Doctors: Dr. David Lofters
•
Dr. Lofters earned his Bachelor of Science from Oakwood College in Huntsville, AL and his Dental degree and Orthodontic Residency at Howard University, Washington, DC
Dr. Lofters has been named to the National Dean’s List, Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, and
Omicron Kappa Upsilon – a prestigious national dental honors society.
Dr. Lofters is married with two sons. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, classical piano, painting, traveling, and
being the “cool uncle” to all his nieces and nephews.

Meet our Doctors: Dr. Portia Carter
•
Dr. Carter earned her Bachelor's Degree at Xavier University of New Orleans and her DDS at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in NYC and completed her General Practice Residency at VAMC New Jersey. Dr. Carter earned her Master of Science at Medical College of Georgia of Augusta for Orthodontics.
Dr. Carter and her husband have three sons and a daughter. She enjoys tennis, reading, board games, shopping, traveling, mentoring, and spending time with her children.
