As an experienced dentist in Eugene, he has practiced in three different countries and acquired training and skills working as a dental assistant, technician, and hygienist before becoming a licensed dental professional. Knowing he wanted to practice medicine since the age of 17, he loved science and felt eager to pursue the bio-medical field. Studying dentistry at the Medical University-Sofia in
Bulgaria, his native country, he moved to the United States and earned a second dental degree from Tufts University in Boston. Graduating third in his class, he relocated to Eugene that same year. From 2014-15, he and his wife moved to Cambridge, UK, where she attended university and worked for the NHS. Now that he’s back in Eugene, he remains an active member in various professional organizations, some of which include the Oregon Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Lane County Dental Association. In addition, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. In his free time, he volunteers with the Tooth Taxi, which is a mobile dental clinic that serves children in rural areas, and at the South Lane Children’s Dental Clinic.
