It's August! That means only one more month of summer AND daily doubles. Wearing mouth guards is super cool--well, at least we think so! One of the problems with standard boil-and-bite guards while in orthodontic treatment is that your teeth are moving and the mouth-guard will overpower your braces or Invisalign and keep your teeth from moving. I had an out-of-this world birthday with my amazing team! When you're turning 51, there's no better way to celebrate than with an Area 51-themed party. As you can see, Rey was super excited to dress up, my parents made it down to celebrate, and the entire team made for an other-worldly experience. It was great seeing everyone and celebrating together. Nanoo-nanoo! Here's to another year!

Please read...you don't want to miss this! I cannot wait! This Thursday is the premier for Top Gun: Maverick and we have 30 tickets to give away for the 6pm, Thursday night showing! But, Tom Cruise has nothing on the REAL Top Gun stud in my life. My dad, Papa Joe, is pretty much the real deal. A Vietnam veteran, he is the kindest, most genuine, sincere person who would give you the shirt off his back. A jokester at heart, I'm sure he relished--if not welcomed his nickname and callsign "Blanks." As a kid, I was just as proud of him as I am today (I'm the blond haired kid with his back to the camera). Any chance I got, I loved putting on his gear and pretending that I was fighter pilot, too. When I got to go to his fighter squadron, it was always a bit surreal to think that MY dad did this awesome thing! So, here's an early Father's Day shout out to a true American Hero-- the one and only Papa Joe!
