Welcome Flagship City Press to the Down4Erie program!

You can now redeem your downtown gift card at this vendor-turned-storefront success story that chose to bring their design studio and stationary shop downtown to "celebrate the quirks, charm, and creativity of our lakeside city."

The Down4Erie gift card program runs on the Yiftee - Community Cards platform with the aim to keep local dollars local! At no cost to businesses, no commissions taken, 100% going towards purchase, and now compatible with phone wallets and tap-to-pay!

IMPORANT UPDATE: Unfortunately, the May 29th Downtown Market will have to be canceled. Thank you all who reminded us that it will conflict with RibFest and we're so sorry for the oversight.

If you are able, please see the other locations also offering PWYC Plant Markets and we hope to see you at the final Downtown Plant Market next Friday, June 5th before the standard farmers markets begin in July.

---

Tomorrow, Friday May 29th, is our next Pay-What-You-Can PLANT Market!

🕓ïļ 4PM - 6PM
📍 West Perry Square, corner of State St. and North Park Row
ðŸŠī Seedlings you can take home to grow your own apartment-friendly produce and herbs for all experience levels!

Just like the PWYC Farmers Market in the summer, this one operates under the model of "take what you need, give what you can" and is part of a larger network of PWYC Markets.

Donations welcome 🙂

Awesome guide for navigating downtown during RibFest!

⚠ïļ KNOW BEFORE YOU GO ⚠ïļ

Ribfest is happening in Perry Square and has a few road closures that impact valuable parking spaces for guests who visit the Food Hall on live music nights (like tonight!). Please use this map to locate alternate street parking locations along State Street, East 5th Street, French Street, Peach Street, and 4th Street (east and west). Alternatively, you can also park in the covered parking garage located just behind Dave's Diner (official address to the garage is 425 Peach Street). Rates and directions to the parking garage can be found here: www.flagshipcitydistrict.com/parking

If you're a fan of good beer and the work we do, you can get the best of both worlds during our fundraiser at Erie Ale Works next Thursday, May 21st.

From 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., a portion of all beer sales will benefit our Downtown Future Fund, supporting our ability to support small businesses, improve our public spaces, and provide free programming to the public.

PLUS, every attendee will receive a ticket at the door to be entered into a drawing for an exclusive downtown package!

Applications are carefully reviewed and awarded based on their potential to drive meaningful and lasting change in Downtown Erie. A detailed application demonstrating the transformative impact of its project has a higher chance of being accepted.
