As we get closer to this year’s Free Dental Care Day, we are remembering our team member Rachel Mauger, who played an instrumental role in our leadership team and helped organize many of our patient events, including Free Dental Care Day. Rachel had such a big heart for helping others, and her impact on our team and community continues to be felt every day.
Rachel bravely battled Cystic Fibrosis and received a life-saving donated organ, which gave her more time to continue inspiring and supporting those around her. She passed away in 2019, but her compassion, kindness, and dedication still guide the work we do today. In honor of Rachel’s legacy, we encourage everyone to consider becoming an organ donor and giving others the same gift of life she once received.
