Holy Cow, Instead of a brain freeze, I think mine sizzled just a bit yesterday! The office is closed today-Monday as our staff stops to take a much-needed break. We’ll be back in the office on Tuesday, July 7th at our usual time. As always, please feel free to leave us a message and we’ll get back to you ASAP on Tuesday (Thank goodness for Eva!). If you’re having a dental emergency, please call the number on the answering machine and Dr.Tom will give you a call back. (We have very limited cell service right now but will head out periodically to check in with the world!)

Okay…so we’re not quite like others you may know…the giant golden elk on our front porch just amuses me…every single time I come home, BUT….look at those glorious flowers!! That is one hanging basket from Kimberly’s Greenhouse on Route 26 in Glen Aubrey…one basket…absolutely gorgeous . Thanks to James D. for telling me about this hidden gem of a nursery! (& yes, that is a gremlin in the background!)

Eva and Diana dreamed up a scheme to turn Tom into a superhero yesterday in honor of his birthday. Dr.Tom became, “Super Dentist” (cape creation courtesy of Eva) and the three of us were his court (also courtesy of Eva!) …please note our regal crowns! Happy Bithday Tom ….here’s to another year where your nonsense encourages everyone around you to join in the fun!

PSA Today - The Southern Tier Cancer Services Program provides FREE breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screenings to any NYS resident without health insurance. They have asked me to share their info with you all. (Remember, Dr. Tom and our hygienists do oral cancer screenings with every appointment as part of their look in your mouth.. ) If you have any concerns about the oral cancer, please ask at your next appointment or give us a call if you'd like to be checked for that before your next appointment. I made a curious discovery today…someone “gifted” the office with this lovely (but adjusted) sign. Fair warning….Dr. Tom says it’s “Game on!” and the perpetrator of this blasphemy will be begging for novacaine if their identity becomes known!

If you don’t want to go out today, we get it (Linus and I are home for the day too!). We will get everyone rescheduled, no worries!

We haven’t made a decision yet about Dr.Tom’s appointments…they will be dependent on the state of the roads from our house down into the village. PLEASE…if you have an appointment with Dr.Tom and won’t be making it in, please leave a message on the answering machine so he won’t be looking for you.
