Some tips on how to take care of your oral health while having to self-quarantine:

* Brush your teeth at least twice a day. Make sure not to forget to brush your tongue to keep your whole mouth clean.
* Floss your teeth at least once every day.
* Use an electric toothbrush.
* Gargle with mouth rinse to kill bacteria and remove plaque.
* Avoid eating and drinking sweet food and beverages. Replace beverages with yogurt and milk.
* Drink plenty of water to wash away acids from your mouth.

Although, it is incredibly important to take care of your physical and mental health during these trying times, you should also take care of your oral health while having to self-quarantine.

Encino Aesthetic Dental Group will open to seeing patients as of Monday, May 4th. Here are the measures we will take to keep everyone safe during the period.

1- No more than 2 patients an hour in the office.

2- No families or guests allowed. We need to keep the flow in the office to a minimum to protect all our patients.

3- EVERY PATIENT SHOULD COME IN WEARING A MASK! We will not provide you with masks. Please bring your own.

4- Every patient will wait in the car or outside the building until called up. Please check in via telephone.

5- Upon arrival, a temperature will be taken and the patient placed in the exam room right away.

6- Our staff will be wearing masks and washing hands. And following any and every safety protocol possible.

7- Each room will be toughly disinfected to the highest standards after each patient.

8- Patients with upper respiratory symptoms- cough, fever, chills, muscle aches, etc- will have a telemedicine appointment.

9- We will not accept walk-in patients, except for severe emergencies. Everyone must call and schedule.

We will start slow and help each other learn as we go through the process.
