Monitors.

Wide range within every line.

The most common wrong assumption:
"They'll have oxygen."

Some offices do.
Some have a cylinder nobody's checked in years.
Some have none — nothing about routine dentistry required it.

A phone call won't tell you which.
"Do you have oxygen?" gets a confident yes
from someone not thinking about volume or regulators.

Assume there is none until you've personally looked at it.

Small thing that becomes a very large thing exactly once.

Which board actually governs you in a dental office?

In the hospital it never comes up.
Medical license, medical staff, done.

In a dental office it depends on your state.
Dental board. Medical board. Sometimes both.
And they don't always define things the same way.

Most anesthesiologists assume their medical license covers it.
Some are right.

Call both boards. Ask directly. Get it in writing.
