When most people hear Botox, they immediately think wrinkles — but Botox can have therapeutic uses in dentistry, too!

For appropriate patients, therapeutic Botox may be used as part of a treatment plan for concerns such as:

✨ Jaw clenching & grinding (bruxism)
✨ Overworked/tight jaw muscles
✨ TMJ/TMD-related muscle discomfort
✨ Masseter muscle tension
✨ Certain types of facial muscle pain

💙 A little message from our Emory Dental family…

We went live earlier today, but we’ve since deleted the video. We went a little long, got a little emotional 🥹, and decided it might be better to put our hearts into words.

Emory Dental has always been a family-oriented practice, and we have always believed in being transparent with our patients—whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re brand new to our office. That hasn’t changed.

Some of you may have noticed that it has been a little more difficult than usual to reach us this week. Right now, we are operating with a very small and unexpected skeleton crew as several members of our team are facing unforeseen challenges.

We truly have the most amazing staff. ❤️ They show up for one another—and for our patients—with so much love, grace, patience, and dedication. Right now, we’re simply asking our community to extend that same grace and patience to them.

We are doing everything we can to answer and return calls as quickly as possible. If you’re unable to reach us, please leave a message so we can return your call as soon as we’re able.

Most importantly, we ask that you keep our Emory Dental family in your prayers this week. 🙏🏼 Please keep our current circumstances in mind when calling, scheduling, or waiting for a returned call.

The Emory Dental crew had the BEST time at Purse Bingo last night, hosted by the Rains Education Foundation! 👛✨

Good friends, lots of laughs, a whole lot of PINK, and all while supporting an organization that pours so much back into our local schools and students. 💕📚

We will have backpacks available to help ensure every child starts the school year with the supplies they need.

📚✏️ Back-to-School Fair Fun! 🦷💙

We had a great time at the Rains Junior High Back-to-School Fair meeting students, families, teachers, and staff! It was wonderful getting to be part of such an exciting event as everyone gears up for a brand-new school year.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Emory Dental booth to say hello and pick up some dental goodies! We love supporting our schools and our community.
