Pardon Our Mess! If you’ve visited us lately, you’ve probably noticed our parking lot looks a little different! We’re in the process of redoing our parking lot, and while we’re so thankful for the rain in just about every other aspect, we’ll admit… it hasn’t been our best friend when it comes to getting this project finished!

Right now, it’s simply too wet to pave, and unfortunately, we don’t have an estimated completion date just yet. So, for the foreseeable future, our parking lot will remain gravel. The good news is that it’s safe to drive on, and we’ll continue doing our best to keep you informed along the way.

We know it’s not the prettiest right now, and we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work to make our parking lot pretty again!

Thank you for being the best patients around. We promise the finished product will be worth the wait!

Our dental assistant, Tiffany, welcomed her beautiful daughter into the world a few weeks ago and has been soaking up all the sweet baby snuggles ever since!

Please join us in welcoming Emily to our dental family! Emily joined our team in June as our newest dental hygienist, and we’re so happy to have her here!

Emily started her dental career as a dental assistant for three years while pursuing an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Chippewa Valley Technical College. She enjoys providing compassionate care while helping patients achieve their healthiest smiles.

Emily is originally from Durand, WI and currently lives in Spring Valley, WI. In her free time she loves reading, walking, exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with her friends and family.

We’re excited for our patients to get to know Emily and experience the wonderful care she brings to our office!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Krisan Shaw after her long battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Dr. Shaw dedicated many years to caring for her patients and played an important role in building the practice that we are honored to continue today. We are grateful for the foundation she created and the lasting impact she had on so many patients and families throughout the years.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Dr. Shaw’s family, friends, former patients, and all those who knew and loved her.

We had the best time showering Tiffany with lots of love today as she gets ready to welcome her sweet baby girl!

Help us welcome MJ to the team! She has joined Sarah at the front desk as a Patient Care Coordinator and is excited to help care for our patients.

Before joining Knutson Family Dental, MJ served in various roles, including Office Administrator and Executive Assistant.

MJ lives in Ellsworth with her husband, Pete, and their two sons, Kylin and Kennan. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crocheting, painting, reading, watching movies, and being in nature. She also enjoys collecting crystals and minerals, many of which she found during trips to the Gem and Mineral Festival in Tucson, Arizona. While she loves to travel, her favorite place to be is the family cabin on Lake Holcombe.

MJ is happy to be part of the Knutson Family Dental Team and looks forward to seeing you soon.

Today marks 5 years of Knutson Family Dental!

Here’s a message from Dr. Knutson: I truly can’t believe how fast these five years have gone. I still remember how nervous I was signing on the dotted line, but looking back, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for both my career and my family.

Getting to care for patients in the same community I live in is something I don’t take for granted. Ellsworth has been so supportive, and I feel incredibly lucky to have met and cared for so many amazing people and families over the years.

To all of our patients, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and growing with us. It means more than I can put into words.

And of course, I’m so thankful for my team who shows up every day to take such great care of our patients.

Here’s to many more years right here in Ellsworth!
