Many patients feel a nervous excitement as they get ready for their dental implant surgery. While you prepare, it doesn’t hurt to familiarize yourself with the recovery that’ll happen afterward. Your body will start to heal, and your jawbone will grow around the titanium. Nothing should disturb this process to give you the stable, strong smile you want.

There are plenty of resources that tell you what you should do during this time, but what about stuff you shouldn’t do? Consider reading my article on what not to do after dental implant placement.
