We are back to school and back to sports šŸˆšŸ€āš¾ļø If your child is in sports, we highly recommend having them wear a mouth guard. Why? Just because your kid has already lost their baby teeth, doesnā€™t mean the new teeth arenā€™t at risk. Think of their teeth as ā€œteenage teethā€ during the mixed dentition phase, meaning their adult roots havenā€™t fully developed yet. This means trauma could equal permanent damage!

Welcome our new Hygienist, Kendra!
Kendra is originally from Lake Stevens WA, but has called Ellensburg home since 2018.

She says, ā€œI am excited to serve the community that has become such a special part of my life. Before dental hygiene school, I worked as a dental hygiene assistant, where I discovered my passion for patient care and knew dental hygiene was the career I wanted to pursue. After earning my Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Yakima Valley College, Iā€™m thrilled to begin my career with a team that shares my passion for comprehensive, patient-centered care. One of the things that excites me most about joining this practice is the opportunity to continue learning about airway health and functional therapy and how these areas can help improve patientsā€™ quality of life. My goal is to help every patient feel comfortable, informed, and empowered to take an active role in their health.ā€
