It's June - we're not sure how we're already here but it's time for celebration! This month we're celebrating both Dental Diversity Month and, fittingly, Pride Month.

We honor the many specialties and roles that make dentistry possible, and we recognize that culture, background, identity, language, traditions, access to care, and personal experiences all play a role in oral health.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At Troy Hill Dental Care, we know that health is never just one thing. Oral health, physical health, confidence, stress, self-care, and mental wellbeing are all connected. A healthy smile can improve comfort, confidence, nutrition, sleep, and overall quality of life - and taking care of yourself includes taking care of your mouth, too.

This month is also meaningful because of Leila’s background in mental healthcare and her ongoing passion for helping people feel supported, respected, and cared for.

🌸🏃‍♀️ Help us raise funds for Children's Miracle Network hospitals 🏃‍♀️🌸

April 12th marks the annual Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Miler in D.C. - and we are proud to say that Leila, our office manager, will be among the ~20,000 runners in support of a great cause.

The race is an opportunity to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which helps provide critical medical care, life-saving treatments, and support for children and families during some of their most difficult moments.

Every mile run helps raise awareness and funds that stay local and directly benefit children in need. We’re honored to stand behind this cause and be part of something that truly makes a difference in our community and beyond.
