📣🎉 ONE YEAR AGO, A LEAP OF FAITH CHANGED EVERYTHING. 🎉📣

One year ago, Dr. K was handed the keys to a dental practice that had served our community for generations as Gavin G. Harrell DDS, PLLC.

Today, that practice has become Yadkin River Dental Spa—and what a year it has been. 💙

In the past 12 months, we've welcomed new patients, invested in new technology, expanded services, grown our team, refreshed our office, supported local events, and worked every day to create an experience where patients feel cared for, comfortable, and heard.

Most importantly, we've had the privilege of building relationships with this incredible community.

We also want to celebrate someone who has been a huge part of that journey—Abigail, who is celebrating her 1-year anniversary with our team today! 🦷✨ Her kindness, dedication, and genuine care for our patients make our office a better place every day.

This year has brought challenges, lessons, victories, and growth. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to serving the people of Elkin, Jonesville, State Road, and the surrounding communities with excellence and compassion.

Thank you to Elk Outdoors Sporting Goods LLC for the shoutout! 🎯

We had a blast competing. Dr. K was excited to take home wins in two rounds of the competition shoot and Dr. Brian won one round. We love supporting local businesses and being part of such a great community.

We had a great night at our monthly 22 shoot! Had a couple new shooters who joined in for some friendly fun and of course a good competition! Congrats to Dr. K on winning two rounds tonight from Yadkin River Dental Spa, if you are in need of a dentist go check them out! The future of dentistry is bright 🦷✨

Today was Ariana’s last day interning with Dr. K at Yadkin River Dental Spa! Ariana is a student at Surry Central High School with dreams of becoming a dental hygienist, and it has been so special watching her learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience right here in our community. 💕

She surprised Dr. K with flowers, a heartfelt card, and conchas — traditional Mexican sweet bread — to thank us for the experience. Moments like these are exactly why we love pouring into the next generation.

Small town mentorship matters. The future healthcare leaders of our community are sitting in today’s classrooms. ✨🌸
