A NEW FLOSS TO TRY

A patient brought this floss to her appointment today for me to try. I liked it! I went through all of her teeth easily and did not shred! It was thin, but still seemed to effectively remove plaque and food.
Bought at Walmart for $1.97. Reverse Google search also shows it at CVS and Walgreens.

Suffering from dry mouth?

There are various products on the market to help: -Biotene mouthrinse is a mouthwash designed to soothe and lubricate up to 4 hours. It is a thicker rinse that acts as a saliva substitute.
-ACT dry mouth is an anticavity mouthwash designed to soothe dry mouth symptoms by using moisturizing agents to lock in moisture.

Both of these rinses are sold over-the-counter at many stores and should provide some relief. If you find these aren't helping enough, please let us know at your next visit!
