❤️‍🩹HELP US, HELP THOSE IN NEED❤️‍🩹

With the extreme heat we’ve experienced this summer and the large increase in electric bills, we have seen a significant increase in the number of people coming to WOFCC needing emergency utility assistance.

Unfortunately, we are reaching a point where we simply do not have enough funding to help everyone who comes through our doors. And that is one of the hardest parts of what we do. ❤️‍🩹

We want to help every person who asks for help. We want to be able to say YES. But without the funding to back it, we simply cannot.

💡 This is where our community can make a difference.

WOFCC is hosting a MASSIVE GARAGE SALE and we need YOUR help to make it a huge success! (don’t worry, we are waiting for cooler temperatures 😉)

We are incredibly grateful to the Public Service Company of Oklahoma Foundation for their generous $1,000 grant! 🤍

This funding will go directly back into our community through our Benevolence Program, helping us provide assistance and support to individuals and families who are facing difficult circumstances and are in need of a little extra help.

Every dollar makes a difference. ❤️

Western Oklahoma Family Care Center is a faith-based nonprofit serving our most vulnerable neighbors throughout Beckham, Wash*ta, and Roger Mills Counties.
As we continue to grow and serve our communities, we are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and community-minded individual to join our Board of Directors.

Serving on our Board is an opportunity to do more than simply volunteer. Board members help provide leadership, guidance, accountability, and support as we work to fulfill our mission of giving hope and help to those in need.
We are looking for someone who:
✨ Believes in our mission
✨ Has a heart for helping others
✨ Is committed to serving our local communities
✨ Is willing to actively participate and support the work of WOFCC
✨ Wants to help us continue growing and making a lasting impact
✨Is able to be involved in board meetings

You do not have to have prior board experience to apply. We are looking for the right people who are willing to invest their time, talents, ideas, and heart into our organization and the people we serve.

💇‍♀️❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING HAIRSTYLISTS! ❤️💇‍♀️

We believe the hairstylists who generously donated their time to provide FREE haircuts during the Beckham County Resource Fair deserve an appreciation post all their own!

It was an incredibly busy day, and haircuts were completely booked through the end of the event. But these amazing women didn’t just show up for the hours they originally volunteered.. Each one of them stayed longer than their scheduled time to make sure every child who needed a haircut was taken care of. Two of our volunteer stylists even stayed all the way until 5:00 PM to make sure no child was turned away. ❤️

What a great and successful day at the 2026 Beckham County Resource Fair! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and visited with our amazing vendors, organizations, and community partners while learning more about the resources available right here in our community. 🫶🏼

We are incredibly grateful for our amazing committee members, volunteers, vendors, hairstylists, and generous donors who helped make this event possible. Your time, hard work, generosity, and dedication do not go unnoticed.

This event truly would not be possible without each and every one of you. We are so thankful for the incredible support our community continues to show and for everyone who played a part in making this day such a success!

Today is the day! 🎒🎉

Join us today from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for the Beckham County Resource Fair & Project Backpack! ❤️

Students who pre-registered for school supplies may pick up their backpacks and school supplies during this time.
To pick up supplies, you must know the student's:
• First and last name
• School
• Grade

⏰ After 2:00 p.m., any unclaimed backpacks and school supplies will be distributed to other students in need.

From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., any student who still needs school supplies is welcome to come and receive available supplies while they last.

We look forward to seeing everyone today! ❤️
