Such a fun night at Movie in the Park! 🎥😍 It was so great seeing so many familiar faces and being part of such a fun community event.

One of the most common questions I get is, “How often should my child go to the dentist?” 🪥

My recommendation is every 6 months, starting around their 1st birthday or when their first tooth comes in.

And yes… choosing a pediatric dentist is important.

We’re specially trained to care for tiny teeth and all the emotions that can come with a child’s dental visit. From a child-friendly environment to smaller tools and a kid-focused approach, every detail is designed to help your child feel comfortable and really start building positive experiences at the dentist from an early age. ✨

And if your child is already over 1 years old or it’s been longer than 6 months since their last visit, don’t worry.

There isn’t a perfect timeline. What matters most is getting them back on track and creating healthy habits moving forward. It’s never too late to start, and we’re here to help every step of the way. 🪥✨

After hearing just about every excuse in the book, I can confidently say there really aren’t any good reasons to skip brushing your teeth. (Nice try though 😅)

One of the biggest things I want parents to know is that every child is different…

Some walk right in with a smile. Others need a little extra time, a hug from mom or dad, or maybe a few visits to warm up.

“How do I know if my child has a cavity?” 🪥🦷

The truth is, cavities can be really difficult to spot in their early stages. Most parents don’t notice them until they’ve become larger, which is exactly why regular checkups are so important.

During your child’s visit, I’m not just looking for cavities you can already see... I’m checking for the tiny changes that happen long before they become painful or obvious. And when needed, X-rays help me see what’s happening between the teeth too.

If you’ve noticed a dark spot, sensitivity, a little bump on the gums, or something just doesn’t seem right, don’t stress or feel like you should have caught it sooner. Bring them in and let us take a look. 🤍

My job is to catch things early, answer your questions, and help you decide the best next step. You’re not expected to know everything… that’s what I’m here for👩🏻‍⚕️😁
