I hope everyone is staying healthy and finding little moments to appreciate among all the craziness of the COVID pandemic. I want to take an opportunity to update you on the status of our office:
While we are eager to reopen, the health and safety of our patients and team members is extremely important during this transition to a "new normal." In addition, while we know oral health is a critical component of overall health, we feel like the delay of elective procedures is still a prudent course of action at this time.
We have been closely monitoring recommendations (and regulations) from the CDC, Illinois Department of Public Health, OSHA, American Dental Association, and others. We have procured and installed most of the equipment and supplies necessary to resume safe operations, but as you can imagine, some essential items are still on back order.
As of now, our goal is to open the week of June 8th for cleaning appointments, as well as other procedures that have been delayed due to COVID-19.
Anyone with an appointment this summer will be contacted about the updated appointment process (check-in from your car, health screening prior to entry, social distancing measures, etc.)
Please note that the added precautions that are necessary may require longer and/or different appointment times. We thank you in advance for your patience as we work to provide a safe environment for everyone.
