We have some exciting news to share. Please read the following letter from Dr. Smith. Patients will be receiving this letter in the mail in the coming days.

Dear Valued Patients and Friends,

We are writing you to share some very exciting news concerning our dental practice. After 42 years of solo practice here in Edinburgh, I have made the decision to transition the care of my patients and merge with Corn Family Dentistry effective February 17th, 2020. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as your dentist and have received endless satisfaction from treating you and your families, which is why I am not yet ready to retire completely.
Merging practices with Dr. Derek Corn and the Corn Family Dentistry staff will allow me to slowly transition into this new role, while also allowing me to help him get to know each of you and your individual dental health needs. It is my desire to transition knowing that my patients will be left in competent and caring hands. Rest assured that I will be here throughout the next year to ensure you receive the level of personalized care that you have come to expect.
I took careful consideration in choosing who best to transition your dental care to, and Dr. Derek Corn exceeded all expectations. I ensure that you will be left in good hands. This transition will also allow us to serve you better as Dr. Corn provides a wider range of treatment options including extractions, root canals, and dentures. I trust that Dr. Corn will provide you with the excellent level of care that you expect and deserve. I can genuinely say that he is excited to begin caring for your dental needs and developing relationships with each of you.
Many of you were not just patients, but friends, who I looked forward to seeing at each and every visit. I want to thank you for your trust and loyalty over the last 42 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed being your dentist and I hope that you will treat Dr. Corn as kindly as you have me.
If you have any questions about the transition, feel free to call our office at 812-220-2676 and we will be happy to answer them. As of February 17th, we will be solely practicing at the Corn Family Dentistry office which is located at 206 South Main St. in Edinburgh. With these positive changes, we will be able to offer an expanded schedule and new services to better care for you. We are confident that you will be satisfied with this change as we continue to provide you and your family with convenient, quality affordable dental care.
