Coffee, tea, red wine, to***co, and other pigmented foods can leave stains on the surface of your teeth over time, even if you brush and floss consistently. In-office whitening uses controlled, professional-strength formulas to safely break down these deep stains and lighten enamel. If you're interested in whitening your teeth, ask Dr. Belani and Dr. Patel about the right option for you.

This question seems to bubble up a lot.
Seltzer isn't necessarily bad for your teeth, but it’s also not as harmless as plain water. The carbonation makes it slightly acidic, which can slowly weaken enamel if you sip it throughout the day.

That doesn’t mean you need to stop drinking it. It just means a few simple habits can help protect your smile. Try enjoying seltzer with meals instead of continuously sipping, use a straw when you can, and follow it with plain water to help neutralize the acidity. It’s also best to wait about 20–30 minutes before brushing, since enamel can be softer right after exposure to acids.
