Debbie Kilgore, Our Receptionist. 🔆

Debbie is a proud Eastern Kentuckian and a valuable member of our team at East Point Dental Center.

With over 10 years of prior experience in dental offices, she has been an integral part of our practice since before our transition from Minix Dental.

Debbie is known for her collaborative spirit, consistently willing to lend a hand wherever needed in the office.

Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her grandkids at sports events and indulges in camping⛺️ and getting her nails done💅🏻.

We are so grateful to have Debbie, a dedicated team player, at our front desk! We appreciate you so much, Debbie! 🔆💜

🦷🪥Beginning a Meet Our Staff, starting out with the Doc himself!

Dr. Mischel is a lifelong resident of Eastern Kentucky. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at Morehead State University, Bachelor of Science- Biomedical Science, Summa Cum Laude. Then on to obtaining his DMD with Distinction at The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2019.

When Dr. Mischel isn’t in the office you can find him with his wife, Paige and their girl gang- Evie, Jacie and Margot.

Dr. Mischel enjoys all things UK football/basketball, hockey, NFL football- Who Dey!, the outdoors- hiking, fishing and mushroom hunting, and he may not want to admit it but he attends many tea parties put on by his daughters 🤣

Dr. Mischel is looking to hire a Dental Assistant.

The role of this position includes:

-Updating and maintaining patient dental records
-Overseeing patient check-in procedures
-Scheduling referral and scheduling appointments
-Showing patients to their exam rooms
-Preparing patients for procedures and/or surgeries
-Assisting with procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions
-Making dental impressions
-Sterilizing dental tools and equipment
-Post-procedure clean-up
-General chairside assisting of dentists and hygienists
-Placement of restorations and fabricating temporary crowns

Preferred experience, but not required:
▪️expanded duties certification
▪️x-ray certificate
