Dr. Mischel is out of office today! Our sweet Debbie is taking calls if you need to get an appointment scheduled or re-scheduled.

Dr. Mischel and assistant, Jamee are volunteering their time in Pikeville today with Samaritan’s Purse and their community medical/dental/vision outreach clinic at Pikeville Baptist Church.

While most folks in our Appalachian area also call it “Decoration Day,” may we never forget to bring recognition and memory to the brave servicemen and women who sacrificed everything for the freedom of our great land.

🌸Abby, Dental Hygienist and soon to be BRIDE 👰🏼🌸

Abby, our dental hygienist plays a vital role in the office at East Point Dental Center.

Her gentle, kind spirit always calms even the most anxious of patients! She is a graduate of BSCTC RDH program. Abby is a smart and gentle team player who comes in every morning ready to help patients achieve a healthy smile!

She has spent the last year planning a wedding to her sweetheart, Aaron. 👰🏼🤵🏻💍

When Abby isn’t in office polishing those pearly whites or kicking plaques butt you can find her spending time with her fiancé, friends and family! She loves being outside soaking up the sun ☀️, attending church✝️, and spending time with her nieces and nephew💜💙.

Thanks Abby, for all your dedication to the office and the oral health of our community! We’re so thankful to have you on our team!

*fun fact: she was once chased by a raccoon when she was younger…. Which may or may not have been Dr.Mischel’s wife’s pet 🫢*

Debbie Kilgore, Our Receptionist. 🔆

Debbie is a proud Eastern Kentuckian and a valuable member of our team at East Point Dental Center.

With over 10 years of prior experience in dental offices, she has been an integral part of our practice since before our transition from Minix Dental.

Debbie is known for her collaborative spirit, consistently willing to lend a hand wherever needed in the office.

Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her grandkids at sports events and indulges in camping⛺️ and getting her nails done💅🏻.

We are so grateful to have Debbie, a dedicated team player, at our front desk! We appreciate you so much, Debbie! 🔆💜

🦷🪥Beginning a Meet Our Staff, starting out with the Doc himself!

Dr. Mischel is a lifelong resident of Eastern Kentucky. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at Morehead State University, Bachelor of Science- Biomedical Science, Summa Cum Laude. Then on to obtaining his DMD with Distinction at The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2019.

When Dr. Mischel isn’t in the office you can find him with his wife, Paige and their girl gang- Evie, Jacie and Margot.

Dr. Mischel enjoys all things UK football/basketball, hockey, NFL football- Who Dey!, the outdoors- hiking, fishing and mushroom hunting, and he may not want to admit it but he attends many tea parties put on by his daughters 🤣
