Very excited to see the new automatic door installed at our building. Dr. Knowles has been lobbying for this for awhile, so if you need an easier entrance to get to our office, it’s now available down at the ramp entrance on the northeast side of the building!

It was my pleasure to attend and sponsor the Lansing mayor’s Unity dinner last night where all proceeds went to the Greater Lansing Food Bank. Thank you to our gracious hosts at the Islamic Center East Lansing and to Mayor Andy Schor for continuing a tradition that started almost 20 years ago by a former public health employee/community organizer named Janine and efforts with former mayor Verg Bernero. I had the honor of sitting next to her and her husband last night. Thank you to Sultan’s for the delicious catering.
The panel was excellent, and I still remember a quoted phrase Joshua Gillespie, from LMTS Community outreach) made from Mother Teresa: “If you can’t feed hundred people, then feed just one.”

Sorry kids. Looks like the value of baby teeth are temporarily in decline. Be sure to brush and floss them nightly to avoid any premature tooth loss. If you do lose a tooth due to natural circumstances, you may want to save them and wait for the market to rebound before calling in the tooth fairy. 😂 —Dr. Knowles 🦷🦷🦷

🏀🏀🏀 🦷 Look what is back in Lansing! Moneyball 3-on-3 basketball tournament. It’s next weekend and you must register by July 29th (see article for details).

No lead apron for my X-rays?
That’s right. We will no longer be using lead aprons to cover you during your dental X-rays. The scientific knowledge gained through rigorous testing shows it’s not needed due to the extremely low levels of radiation with digital X-rays.
