To Our Dental Family,

We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Francesca Velardi to our dental team.

Dr. Francesca Velardi is a Buffalo native, born and raised in North Buffalo. Dr. Velardi attended Canisius College where she studied Psychology and Spanish. She continued her educational journey at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Velardi participated in research which allowed her to present both nationally and internationally. She was also a member of the American Dental Education Association and had the honor of serving as Vice President and President.

After dental school, Dr. Velardi completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D.) program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL.

Following her residency, Dr. Velardi traded in the warmth to return back to Buffalo. She has experience in private practice, public health dentistry, and dental education. When not practicing Dr. Velardi enjoys learning pottery, staying active, and spending time with family.

As Aurora Dental Care continues to grow, it is very important for us to find that “someone” that will deliver the personalized, high quality, hometown care that our patients value and appreciate. We strongly feel is the right fit and begin seeing patients on February 16, 2026. Dr. Moore will be working with Dr. to ensure a seamless introduction. Dr. Moore will be in the office Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. Dr. Velardi will be in the office Monday-Thursday. Dr. Zunner on Fridays.
