5 Star Review. Amazing place! I have a HUGE fear of dentists but I wasn’t even scared when I went in. I got a routine cleaning and it was so pleasant. They have a TV on the ceiling so you can watch whatever you want on Netflix or Hulu (I watched Shadow and Bone) and they use erythritol powder to clean your teeth so there’s no scraping or anything! You can get a free plant clipping at the end! They have beverages if you want one (I recommend the Vanilla Draft latte!) and the office itself is very nice. I’m excited to go back and that’s saying something! All the ladies that work there are very friendly and kind. Great dentist!!” -Jenna M.

Gold crowns. Did you know that gold is still widely considered one of the best materials for dental crowns? They’re durable, gentle on the surrounding gums & natural teeth, and can last well over 30 years with the proper care.

We just love fun cases like this one. When our patient expressed that she was interested in gold to replace her old crowns, we ran with it. She has such a bright personality and her smile deserved to shine too!

Meet Elexa! Elexa is one of our certified dental assistants and she previously lived in North Carolina for 5 years. She attended Coastal Carolina Community College and obtained her DANB certification as a military spouse there. She has experience assisting in all fields of dentistry but loves cosmetic dentistry the most!

When not assisting Dr. Sweeney, Elexa is probably reading a new book, collecting remarkable rocks and plants, or spending quality time with her family. If she weren’t a dental assistant, she would be an editor working with authors to develop amazing stories!

Best of all, Elexa loves spending quality time with her patients and getting to know them for who they are beyond just their teeth.

She is also very passionate about helping her patients overcome dental anxiety. If you ever need help finding a good book to read, she’s your girl, but most importantly, she is someone who will make sure that you are pampered and feel at home during your visit!

Gum lift + 4 composite veneers. This beautiful young lady had undergone braces and still felt like the proportions of her smile weren’t what she wanted. So what did we perform?

1. Esthetic crown lengthening - performed by my colleagues at Sometimes known as a “gum lift,” this procedure removes excess bone & gum tissue revealing hidden tooth structure, to improve the length and proportions of the teeth.

2. 4 composite veneers - on her lateral incisors and canines. The central incisors are all her own! She loved the shape and size of her centrals, but felt the surrounding teeth were small and had spacing. Additive only, no natural tooth structure was removed to improve the contours of her teeth.
