To Our Dear Patients,

After nearly 40 years of caring for the people of our community, Kathy is beginning a well-deserved retirement.

For four decades, she has been much more than a valued member of Dr. Hammonds team and for the past year, our team—she has been a familiar face, a trusted friend, and a source of comfort for generations of patients. As a lifelong member of our community, she has built lasting relationships and touched countless lives with her kindness, compassion, and genuine care.

Her dedication to the continuation of our practice and to our patients has left a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten. We are incredibly impressed for the years she has dedicated and we are grateful for the time and energy she has shared with us. We are so excited for her and the next chapter with her wonderful family.

Meet Dr. Erik! Originally from Woodhaven, Michigan, Dr. Erik earned his bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College, where he played on the men’s soccer team. He then made his way to Arizona, earning a master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Midwestern University before continuing at the College of Dental Medicine to complete his dental education.

It was also at Midwestern where he met the love of his life—and now wife—Dr. Christen! 🤍

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Erik enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and taking in everything the Upstate has to offer. Family, dentistry, and a good round of golf are just a few of the things that make him happiest! ✨

Meet Dr. Christen! 🦷🤍 Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Christen found her way to Arizona, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.

When she’s not in the office, you can find her hiking, traveling, or making memories with her husband, their four children—Grant, Nora, Claire & Paige—and their sweet dog, Roger. 🐾❤️

Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she feels so lucky to call dentistry her passion! ✨
