Discovery Dental

Discovery Dental in Anchorage, Alaska, is unlike most other dentist’s offices because it is dedicated exclusively to kids’ dentistry. Discovery Dental provides gentle, compassionate care tailored to your child with the help of the dentistry team. Since 2013, Discovery Dental has been providing general dentistry services to children and teens in the Eagle River area. With training and experience focused exclusively on providing dental care to younger patients, the staff at Discovery Dental knows how to ease nervous patients, accommodate for shorter attention spans, and help your child feel positive about visiting the dentist. The staff at Discovery Dental believes that having comfortable experiences during children’s earliest visits to the dentist is a critical component of kids’ dentistry. It lays a foundation for good oral hygiene habits for life and shows them that preventative care such as fluoride, cleanings, and sealants are all beneficial for maintaining a healthy smile. In addition to preventative services, you can also trust Discovery Dental to gently and efficiently handle emergency dental issues, treat cavities, and correct any lip or tongue ties through laser frenectomies. By tailoring these services to make them as comfortable as possible for children, the Discovery Dental team ensure that your child will get the treatment he or she needs in a relaxed environment. For procedures that could be intimidating for young minds, they offer safe yet effective solutions such as laughing gas and drinkable sedation medicine.
