It's National Fresh Breath Day, so let's talk about what's actually behind bad breath. Most of the time, it comes down to bacteria buildup from food particles, dry mouth, or skipping the back of the tongue when brushing. Staying hydrated, brushing twice a day, and not skipping flossing all go a long way. If fresh breath has been a struggle no matter what you try, it could be worth mentioning at your next cleaning, sometimes there's more going on beneath the surface!
