Welcome to the 411 with Jody! 🎙️ The scoop, the updates, and the occasional overshare.

This time, Jody shares a story about a weekend emergency, a patient she hadn't seen in years texted in a panic after knocking out her front tooth. 😖
Jody met her at the office within the hour, called in Dr. Wiemeyer, and together they got her tooth put back together!! 😁🍰

Denture Care 101: How to best care for your dentures at home! 🏠 🙌🦷

A few simple habits can go a long way, take your dentures out at night just like you would your shoes, so your gums can breathe and stay clean.

Leaving them in around the clock can lead to germ and fungal buildup. Instead, soak them overnight in water with a denture cleaner like to keep the acrylic in good shape and have them fresh and ready to go in the morning. 🫧

Your dentist or prosthodontist may be the first person to flag your sleep apnea... and that's not a coincidence! 👇

Dr. Wiemeyer explains how dental screenings can identify the condition early, and how a custom oral appliance can treat it effectively. Snoring, grinding your teeth and acid reflux together? That combination is worth getting checked.
