You guys missed a very well done documentary and historical film event tonight at this local Roxboro theater. This was done by a local Roxboro native, Brooke Obie, about her family, their local successful farming business, their genealogy, their pre-civil war roots, their triumphs and tragedy’s. This was history told with unembellished truth and not to a white washed , politically correct narrative. This is the kind of history I tried to expose and teach my own children. I want to know what really happened historically when I study and research and this young lady from , now, California , and a successful entertainment journalist and author, delivered it in spades.
