Absolute Dental Services Absolute Dental Services currently operates out of the Triangle of North Carolina.

A true full solutions dental lab specializing in Dental Implants, Guided Surgical Solutions, All-on-X Hybrid Dentures, Fixed Prosthetics and High End Removables. Conrad and Drew, the current owners, started working for Absolute Dental Services in 1999. They purchased the company from the previous owner and have grown it into a world class dental laboratory.

WHEN A STANDARD SOLUTION DOESN’T FIT… YOU DESIGN A BETTER ONE.

In most cases, when we utilize thimble copings for future retrievability, restorative space disappears pretty quickly. Traditionally, that can leave us looking at a PFM restoration with no digital archiving as one of the only practical options, but this case called for some outside-the-box thinking.

My business partner, Drew, worked closely with our Absolute design team to engineer a custom titanium framework that could be internally cemented for improved esthetics while still providing the strength and support needed for two distal zirconia cantilevers.

The result combined traditional restorative principles with modern digital design and today's advanced zirconia materials without sacrificing the ability to digitally preserve the case.

This case is a great reminder that while the digital canvas we paint on has changed dramatically, the art we create remains the same. Technology gives us new tools. Experience teaches us what to do with them.
