Free gingival graft, the most predictable mucogingival surgery! Mutual patient with one of our great colleagues, history of peri-implantitis and implant 19 was removed and site grafted. Implant 20 was treated with Nd:YAG laser and healing abutment placed. Before proceeding with new implant and new prosthesis, decided to modify the phenotype and grafted the site with a FGG extending to the adjacent teeth. Goal is to create an attached keratinized mucosa which we all know will help with long term stability of the implants. In second photo, you can see the 8 weeks healing, looks great. Can't wait to see the final case. Please excuse the pre-op photo, should have rinsed better after topical benzocaine!

CTG Tuesday! sweet patient presented to our office with chief complaint of recession on tooth 25. Case was completed one year ago using VISTA technique. The tunneling was extended to adjacent teeth and as a result, we were able to cover all incisors as well as canines. We appreciate our wonderful patients and colleagues who have trust in us!

📌Power of autogenous grafting! patient referred to us by one of our great colleagues for 9mm recession on mid facial of tooth 23. You can see the lack of keratinized and attached tissue on 23, thin gingival phenotype and gingival recession on adjacent teeth. Case was completed with laterally closed tunneled technique. After 6 months healing there is great coverage of roots and significant increase of gingival tissue. All probing depths 2mm or less. Happy patient happy periodontist! 😍
