Soda can be tough on little smiles for two big reasons:
🍬 Sugar feeds harmful bacteria and increases the risk of cavities.
⚡ Acid can weaken and wear away tooth enamel, even in sugar-free sodas!

Frequent sipping makes matters worse by keeping teeth exposed to sugar and acid for longer.

Our favorite drink for healthy smiles? Water! 💧

No teeth yet? You still need an oral care routine! 👶

Even before those first little teeth appear, we recommend gently wiping your baby’s gums daily with a clean, damp cloth.

This helps your little one get comfortable with oral care and can make the transition to brushing much easier once those first teeth start to erupt! 🪥😁

Thumb sucking is a very common habit among young children, but prolonged thumb sucking can affect developing teeth and jaw growth.

We typically recommend helping children stop the habit around ages 3–4. Many children naturally outgrow it, while others may need a little extra encouragement and guidance.

If your little one is approaching their third birthday and still sucking their thumb, it may be a good time to talk with us about healthy, positive ways to kick the habit! 💚💙🐸
