The process begins with removing the damaged tooth, if it hasnā€™t already been extracted. A small titanium implant is then carefully placed into your jawbone to act as an artificial tooth root. The placement itself is a straightforward procedure that can take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the complexity of your case.

Over the next three months or so, the implant is given time to heal and fuse with the surrounding jawbone through a natural process called osseointegration.

Once the implant has fully integrated with the bone, an abutment and custom-made crown are attached to complete your new tooth!
