I am humbled and honored to have been inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, USA Section at its 91st Annual Convocation on September 13th, 2025, in San Diego, California.
The International College of Dentists (ICD) is the preeminent honor society of the world's outstanding dentists involved in "Serving Others". The ICD is dedicated to the recognition of outstanding professional achievement, meritorious service and continued progress in the profession of dentistry for the benefit of all humankind.
Their Fellows exemplify the core values of integrity, leadership and service to others. I am thrilled to be a part of this prestigious organization and aim to continue its mission.
A special Thank you to Dr. Linda Himmelberger for nominating me, Dr. Bernadette Logan who is the current District 3 Regent and Dr. Vipul Saini for being my biggest fan and supporter.

At Modern Endodontics

We have created an environment that allows Dr. Sweta Shah-Saini to perform at the highest level, with precision, compassion, and care. She provides care involving simple and complex endodontic procedures that include root canal treatments, re-treatments, apicoectomies, vital pulp therapy and revascularization procedures. The presence of a Dental Operating Microscope as well as a Cone Beam CT machine allows her to provide cutting edge care using the most current and up to date technologies. These allow her to provide stellar patient care, that is timely and pain-free. Her dedicated and experienced staff provide a warm and welcoming environment that is geared towards maximizing patient comfort. She has been featured as a Top Dentist in the Main Line Today magazine, for the past 10 years consistently, since 2011. She has been serving the communities of Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia and Montgomery counties as a mentor and respected Endodontist since 2010.

Denise has been a dental assistant for over 26 years. She has been involved in the Endodontic field for 24 of those years. She has enjoyed working with Dr. Shah for the past 11 years. Taking care of our patients, listening to their concerns, and making them feel comfortable is what makes Denise stand out. She is the mother of 3 children, loves going to the beach, taking walks, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies!

Susan brings over 35 years of experience to the dental field. She started her career working for insurance companies that process dental claims. Understanding this process and her excellent customer service assures you that your dental needs will be handled expertly and efficiently. For the last 20 years, Susan has been working in an Endodontic office. Helping patients with any questions and concerns about their dental insurance coverage is her specialty. In her spare time, Susan is an avid reader and enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and 2 rescued pups!

Dr. Sweta Shah-Saini received her D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine in 2008. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, which is an honor conferred to the top-ranked graduating dentists. Dr. Shah-Saini then received her certificate in Endodontics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010 and was awarded the prestigious Louis I. Grossman award for academic and clinical proficiency in Endodontics. She joined Endodontic Associates Ltd. upon graduation and has served the community of Chester-Delaware County for the last 10 years before founding Modern Endodontics PLLC in 2021.

She has authored several scientific publications in conjunction with the Endodontic Department at The University of Pennsylvania in the internationally renowned Journal of Endodontics. She has been a pioneer in performing revascularization procedures to save teeth affected by trauma. She was Clinical Faculty at the Graduate Endodontic Department at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was an Assistant Clinical Professor for several years. She has also taught at the UPenn Dental Microscope Training Center where dentists from around the world come to train in micro-endodontics and microsurgery. Dr. Shah-Saini is currently on track to become a Diplomat of the American Board of Endodontists.
She is an active member of The American Association of Endodontists, The American Dental Association, The Pennsylvania Dental Association, Dental Society of Chester and Delaware County, and the Grossman Endodontic Study Club.

Dr. Sweta Shah-Saini was born in Nairobi, Kenya. She graduated at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree with honors, from Cardiff University, School of Dentistry in the UK before she moved to the USA in 2006. She resides in Chester County with her husband and 2 children. She enjoys safari photography, hiking, painting, and traveling.
