Happy New Year! We are excited to be back at the office after a week of spending time with our families and loved ones, and we are the starting off the new year with a post about a Job Opportunity here at the office.

We are looking to add another smiling, and friendly face to our front office team. This patient care coordinator position includes scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting and processing payments, contacting insurance companies, updating patient records, and email responses. If you can multi-task with an attentiveness to detail and a smile, then this position may be for you. Our goal is to provide the best quality dentistry and we are looking for the right person help us continue to do this! We offer vacation, sick and 401(k) benefits! After 24 years at Peterson Family Dental, Debbie will be starting her next chapter in retirement. Debbie has poured her heart and soul into our office and words will never do our gratitude justice. If you see Debbie please join us in congratulating and thanking her for all her years of hard work and dedication. We sure will miss her!

Debbie leaves big shoes to fill. We are hoping to find another hard working, dedicated and honest person to join our team and fill the dental assisting position Debbie is leaving. If you or anyone you know has thought about the dental profession we would love to hear from you! Although preferred, previous dental experience is not required as we are willing to train for a great candidate. I am so proud, and would like to congratulate my husband, Brendan White, on completing his second year of dental school at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, Maine.

Four and a half years ago Brendan decided he wanted a career change; and so he left his 13 year career in finance and decided to apply to dental school (after two years or Prerequisite courses). While balancing the demanding work load of Dental School, Brendan has continued to be the most wonderful husband and attentive father. My dad and I can’t wait for him to join Peterson Family Dental (in a couple years)! This might even allow my dad to take some time off now and then…don’t worry though, my dad has no plans to retire!😉

Also, while I returned from my maternity leave back January, I still want to acknowledge and express appreciation for my dad, who took over for me while I was home with my boys. My gratitude could never be expressed in words, but I can’t go without giving my dad, my partner and my mentor, a huge thank you.

We are so blessed! Thank you to all of our patients for your loyalty and trust!

Congratulations to Dr Jessica and her husband, Brendan on the birth of their son Ronan Brendan. He was born on July 18th at 3:55pm, 12 days after his due date, nice and healthy at 8.14lbs and 21 inches. Declan is loving being a big brother and Dr. Peterson is a proud grandpa! Baby and mama are happy and healthy and everyone is feeling very grateful and blessed. 🌈👶🏻💙

We are excited to announce that we will be re-opening on Monday, May 18th. We will be doing this in a phased approach. We have and do appreciate your patience. During our 8 weeks of closure, we have been working diligently implementing new training and protocols for your safety. Please check your email for our letter which includes our latest updates, protocols and information. Happy Saturday and Happy early Mother’s Day! You know what it better than snow in May? Hearing from your dental office!

We want to thank everyone for all of your patience. We appreciate your kindness as well. We are finalizing our PPE supplies and re-opening protocols and will be opening SOON! The doctors are diligently working on finalizing implementation of the new CDC, OSHA and ADA guidelines in coordination with our staff. There will be a new process of how we see patients, but we are going to be very happy to begin seeing you all again.

In the meantime, we hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying some sunshine. We are still seeing emergencies at this time. You can call the office (603-742-6546) for the doctors cell phone numbers and to hear the most up to date information.

To Our Patients,

These are extraordinary times, and everyone is trying to do their best to help keep our communities healthy. We apologize for any mixed messaging from our office, this is a dynamic situation with constant updates. With increased concerns over public health related to COVID-19 (coronavirus), and from the guidance of the American Dental Association and the New Hampshire Dental Association, we have decided to take the next step and close our office for elective procedures and cleanings for 3 weeks beginning today - Tuesday - 3/17/2020. We will work tirelessly to get you rescheduled.

We did not come to this conclusion lightly. With the consistent messaging from all health professionals responding to the Coronavirus that social distancing - staying six feet apart - is the best way to prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution for our patients and staff we will close temporarily. As of now, our plan is to reopen the week of April 6th. Thank you for your patience and continued loyalty in the future.

Good morning everyone! With everything going on right now we wanted to inform you of the steps we are taking to ensure our patients upmost safety.

Corona Virus Update:

In an effort to keep our patients, our staff and our community safe we are asking patients who have any of the following symptoms to call our office and reschedule their appointments (603-742-6546):

-Fever
-Upper respiratory symptoms (cough, nasal congestion, shortness of breath)
-Sore throat

We also ask that anyone who has traveled out of the country (Italy, China, Japan, South Korea or Iran) to call our office to reschedule your appointment. At this point we believe that safety is paramount. We will do our best to get you rescheduled as timely and appropriately as possible.
As always our office is following our strict infection control protocols.

Upon your arrival to our office please wash your hands in our bathroom or use the alcohol-based hand sanitizer on the front desk. We are trying to make every effort to keep everyone healthy.

Optional Check-in (Car Protocol):

We are now trying an optional “avoid the reception area plan.” When you arrive you can call the front desk and let us now you have arrived as well as the model and color of your car. A staff member will call you on your cell phone or greet you in the parking lot and take you directly to a disinfected treatment room when ready.

Thank you for your understanding and consideration. As always your health and safety are our top priority. We are grateful for your continued patronage and support, and here’s to keeping us all healthy!
