Meet Avery 😁✨

For the past 8 years, Avery has been helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout their orthodontic journey.

As one of our orthodontic assistants, her favorite part of the job is getting to know patients and hearing about what’s happening in their lives while helping them achieve a beautiful smile.

If you’ve spent time in her chair, you’ve probably heard her ask,
“Anything loose or bothering you?” 😊

Outside the office, Avery loves spending time with her family, riding at the land, relaxing by the pool, and making memories with her husband, daughter, and their sweet pup, Maggie.

Her advice for nervous patients is simple:
“Just relax—it’s not a bad experience at all!”

Avery describes our office in one word: TEAMWORK , and that caring team spirit is something she brings to work every day. 💚

Meet Ashley ✨💚

For nearly 20 years, Ashley has been helping patients feel confident from their very first visit all the way through their smile transformation.

As our Treatment Coordinator and Assistant Office Manager, her favorite part of the job is building relationships with patients and watching their confidence grow throughout treatment.

Outside the office, you’ll find her cheering on her kids (Anzley & Hampton) at the ballfields, relaxing at the beach with her husband (Patrick) , or enjoying a good book.
Her favorite braces colors are Teal & Pink.

Ashley’s advice for anyone nervous about starting treatment:
“The discomfort is temporary, but that beautiful smile is forever!”

One of her favorite moments at work is seeing patients light up on the day their braces come off - and if you ask her to describe our team in one word, she’d say exceptional. ✨😁

For the past 20 years, Kecia has been one of the friendly faces helping make WOS feel like home.

As our Office Manager, her favorite part of the job is being a part of a team that feels like family and getting to watch patients light up as they see their smile transformations come to life.

Kecia has helped make WOS the warm and welcoming practice it is today and helps to build relationships with patients that last long after treatment is complete.

When she’s not in office, she spending time with her husband (Robert), her two daughters (Meri Grace & Audree), her son-in-law (Edde) and her grandson (Kruz).

She enjoys beach trips, sipping coffee, and watching all the true crime documentaries.☀️

Kecia’s advice for anyone nervous about starting treatment : “ it’s easier than you expect, and you’ll be so happy with your end result!!”

Meet Our Team : Week Two is all about Dr. Howell 👏🏼

For the past 22 years, Dr. Howell has helped create confident smiles here at WOS.

As co-owner of the practice, his favorite part of Orthodontics is the opportunity to meet and help great people every day.

Our patients may know him for his calm, reassuring approach and for making Orthodontic treatment, feel easy and approachable.

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time at the lake, hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife (Heather) , his three daughters (Mary Morgan, Palmer, and McGowan) , and their dog (Buffett).

His go to snack combo is Diet Coke and Doritos.
Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday.
When it comes to braces or Invisalign his answer is simple :
BOTH!
Because every patients needs are unique.

His advice for a nervous patient?
“Relax and let us answer all your questions. We are always here to help.”

One word he uses to describe our office and staff :
Awesome💚 - and we think that fits pretty well!

If you’ve met Dr. Griffin , you know her favorite part of Orthodontics isn’t just creating beautiful smiles - It’s building relationships with the people behind them😃.

She loves getting to know her patients and making every visit feel welcoming, comfortable, and personal.

Dr griffin is a Board-Certified Orthodontist and has been a part of the WOS team for almost a year and her most used phrases at work are “whatcha been up to” or “do you have any questions for me?”.

When she’s not in office she’s probably soaking up sunshine at the beach with a good book, traveling, or cheering on Auburn football (War Eagle🦅).
Her go to snack is peanut butter M&Ms and a Diet Coke.
Her favorite braces color is periwinkle and she fully supports Braces AND Invisalign…as long as you wear your trays😉

Her advice to new patients is to ask us anything - We are here to guide you every step of the way.🦷🪥💚
