For Bullying Prevention Month, Ricci Orthodontic Studio is proud to support Stand for the Silent Stand For The Silent Official by donating $100 for every patient who starts treatment the same day as their consultation this month. 🦷

Help us congratulate our Team Member of the Quarter, Paula!👏🏼🤩🙌🏼

During the last 3 months, our team has put different “shoutouts” about each other in our team shoutout envelope💌 when someone goes above and beyond. This quarter, Paula got the most shoutouts! (it was a close one this quarter and always is because we have an amazing team)☺️

Patients have called Paula an angel😇, a rockstar🌟, extremely talented🏆, a natural… the list goes on. And her teammates recongnize how much she goes above and beyond every single day. She has been an absolute gift to Ricci Orthodontic Studio and is an inspiration to us all daily to always be at our best (because she sure is). ☕️🪥 Coffee first… brushing later! *much later*

One of the easiest ways to be kinder to your teeth? Don’t brush immediately after acidic foods or drinks.☕️🍋🍷

Here’s what to do instead:

💧 Rinse with water
⏰ Wait at least 30 minutes, ideally an hour
🪥 Then brush as usual

Why? Acidic foods and drinks like coffee, soda, w**e, and citrus can temporarily soften enamel. Brushing too soon can contribute to enamel wear.

🦷✨ A healthy smile isn’t just about brushing more — it’s about brushing smarter.

Welcome our Director of Patient Experience, Hazel!🤍

Born in Nicaragua and raised in sunny California, she is a proud newlywed who loves God, music, Mexican food, and bringing joy to those around her. Her faith in Jesus is a very important part of who she is and influences the way she lives and connects with others.

She has always loved making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for, and kindness is something she tries to share wherever she goes. Music has also been a big part of her life. She comes from a musical family where everyone sings and plays instruments, and she especially enjoys singing at church. And if you know her, you know her favorite color is pink!

She is grateful for the life she has been given and enjoys finding little ways to encourage, love, and brighten someone’s day.

Have a fake tooth in your aligners? 🦷
Are you a slow eater? 🍝
Do your kids forget to put their aligners back in after lunch? 😅

Then listen up, Invisalign people—because there are actually times when I’d rather you leave your aligners IN than have them out all day. 👀

Technically, you can eat certain foods with your aligners in.

🥔 Soft/bland foods? Usually less concerning.
🥩 Hard or chewy foods? Better to take them out.
🍛 Foods that stain? Definitely avoid!
☕️ Can’t live without your coffee? Try a straw + rinse with water afterward.

And if you’re snacking throughout the day, sometimes leaving your aligners in for a soft snack is better than having them out for hours. Wear time matters!

✨ That’s also why products like EverSmile (link in bio) can be helpful for keeping your aligners cleaner throughout the day when you’re on the go.
