Dear Patients,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health.
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety. Our office follows the infection control recommendations from the ADA, CDC and OSHA. We are committed to ensuring that our infection control procedures are current and effective.
You may see some new processes when it is time for your next appointment. Please be assured that we have made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
β’ You may be asked screening questions both before your appointment and when you arrive in the office.
β’ Only one patient will be permitted in the reception area to maintain social distancing.
β’ You may be asked to use the hand sanitizer or wear gloves we will have available as soon as you enter the office.
β’ You may notice that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, childrenβs toys and other items that are difficult to clean.
β’ You may be offered fewer scheduling options for your appointment in order to allow for physical distancing between patients.
β’ An antibacterial and antiviral mouth rinse will be provided before any dental care.
β’ You may be asked to bring a face mask to wear when you enter the office.
β’ All door handles, and frequent touch surfaces are being disinfected frequently and scrupulously.
New Safety equipment
At your next visit to the office you will notice the following additions that we have put in place to keep you safe:
β’ Medify air purifiers: These air filters, present in the hallway, have HEPA 13 filters and remove 99.97% of all virus particles, including COVID19. Additional features include a dust sensor, pre-filter, active carbon filter, ionizer technology and UV light.
β’ Safety partitions: The new partitions at our reception counter help protect you and our administrative staff by enforcing social distancing.
β’ Personal Protective Equipment: Don't be alarmed at our team members' futuristic new uniform. The administrative staffs are all wearing gloves and masks, while members of the clinical team are wearing face shields, head coverings, masks, gloves, and gowns. These protective measures keep all of us safer while providing or receiving dental treatment.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have. To make an appointment, please call our office at 925-634-6111
Most of all, thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back to our office.
Sincerely,
Dr. Rimple Sandhu and Team.
