This is a program was started in 2018. Originally titled "Dentistry Beyond The 3-Unit Bridge," it was designed to elevate the skills and knowledge of clinicians to provide a broader range of dentistry that dealt with occlusal issues, significant loss of teeth and periodontal support, and, of course, the full-arch dilemmas. Sadly today… we lost a legend. Dr. I. Stephen Brown, the original perio-ortho dual specialist. For the past 25 years that I got to know this gentleman, he gladly brought me under his wing, taught me a thing or two, and was always by my side during my professional and personal growth. A true mentor, and a father to me that I never had. I will so miss Dr. Brown. RIP, Steve.❤️

This past week, Justin, my oldest son became a periodontist! He was born when I was a first year resident at UCLA. Thirty years later, he completed his residency at OHSU. The proudest person was, of course, the mama!!!
