Premolars are not all created equally. 🦷
Both of these cases took 2 visits to complete.
#4:
• 1 canal found at the first visit
• CBCT revealed a second canal
• Located the second canal after drilling 4 mm from the first canal or***ce
#5:
• No canals found after accessing 8 mm from the marginal ridge
• CBCT revealed the canal spaces
• Located both canals after drilling 12 mm from the occlusal reference point
CBCT can show you that the canals are there.
The hard part is actually finding them. 🧐🦷
