✨ Meet Dr. Shanna Howze, you're DeSoto dentist ✨
Dr. Howze earned her DDS from UT Health San Antonio in 2020, where she also met her husband (and fellow dentist!). Dentistry has been the most rewarding journey—she loves changing lives through a comprehensive “Mind, Body & Mouth” approach to oral healthcare. She’s passionate about helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles through advanced dentistry.

One of Dr. Howze’s favorite aspects of Howze Dental Group is caring for generational patients. From grandparents to their children and now their grandchildren, the practice has been part of families’ lives for decades—some going all the way back to when Dr. Scott’s father, Dr. Lee, first opened the doors. It’s really special to see those connections continue.

Outside the office, you’ll find her running, crushing workouts at Orange Theory, skiing, or traveling. At home, she and her husband are proud pet parents to Winston, Olivia, and Marley.

✨ Meet Dr. Jennifer Scott! ✨
Dentistry is truly in her roots—she’s a second-generation dentist who took over the family practice from her father, Dr. Lawrence Lee. Many of her patients even remember her as a little girl helping in his office!

She earned her DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1989 and has been caring for smiles with skill, compassion, and a true “family first” approach ever since. Outside the office, Dr. Scott loves her church, reading (she’s in 3 book clubs 📚), scrapbooking, traveling to the beach, and cheering on her Baylor Bears. Sic ’Em! 💚💛
