To all of our wonderful patients, thank you for your support and patience while we adapt to new circumstances during this global pandemic.

The staff at Apple Dental have been working diligently to prepare the office for reopening in a manner that will be safe and protective for both patients and staff.

As part of our preparation we have invested in new ways to sterilize not only the surfaces within our office, but also the air circulating the office. These extraordinary measures include cutting-edge Air Purifiers and UV light Sterilizers. These innovative Air Purifiers, which are specifically designed for dental practices, work to contain and destroy harmful pollutants, viruses and other air particles through five filters including a UV light and negative ION chamber. Furthermore, through the use of our newly purchased FDA approved and made in the USA UV Light sterilizers, we will be able to significantly decrease or eliminate infectious agents from surfaces around the office without the use of harmful chemicals. This mobile cleaning device contains 8 high-output lamps that project UV light to clean and sanitize a room by eliminating 99.9% of pathogens. Dr. O’Carroll and the staff are keeping up-to-date with all arising COVID-19 information and will continue to adapt and invest in new advancements that will keep our patients and staff safe.

EDIT: REOPEN DATE HAS BEEN UPDATED TO June 1, 2020.

Dear Patients of Apple Dental:

In light of the latest news of the Covid-19 situation- based on the recommendations of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) I have decided to only see patients on an “emergency /accident only”basis until June 1, 2020.

Any other appointments or changes in future appointments, please, feel free to contact the office.

Your health and safety while in our care is always our highest priority. But we know you may have questions and concerns with the news about COVID-19, also referred to as novel coronavirus.

Please know we are taking every precaution to ensure your wellbeing during your visit to Apple Dental. We are here to keep you safe. There is no need to cancel your appointments. Dental health is important in your overall health.

We have a rigorous screening process in place and are immediately canceling anyone presenting with possible coronavirus symptoms. Our staff are well-trained in infection control processes and protocols. And we continue to ensure all areas of our office are fully sanitized for your protection.

If you are feeling unwell, we recommend contacting our office before your appointment so that we can get you rescheduled.

This is a time for concern, but not a time for panic. Thank you for entrusting Apple Dental Associates, Ltd. with your care. We’re proud to serve you and look forward to continuing to do so.

Apple Dental Associates, Ltd., a state-of-the-art office, is searching for a SECOND DENTAL ASSISTANT to join our friendly team! We are a private care practice and offer our patients a very personalized dental experience.

Come join a fantastic group whose common goal is to make sure YOU work in a healthy, happy work environment and provide amazing quality dental care while educating patients!!

We are looking for an individual who is confident, has a professional appearance and is a self-starter.
Currently searching for someone with at least 6 months of current dental assisting experience and must be able to:
*take digital x-rays & digital panos
*take/pour alginate impressions
*know current sterilization techniques
*Implant experience preferred
*Filing/Assisting front office, as needed

If you are a recent graduate of a dental assisting school, we look forward to meeting with you!

Most days 8:30-4:15p. One evening per week until 7p., one Friday and one Saturday per month.
(25-32 hours per week.)

*Apple Dental is also conveniently located just 1 block south of the Des Plaines Metra Train Station!

Salary is commensurate with experience and willingness to be a team player!
