We are seeking a skilled, Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team for a full time position. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 7:45 am-5 pm. (If interested in part time, please reach out, too.... that is an option)

Bonus program incentives. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in infection control, and general dentistry practices. Experience with medical records, Eaglesoft, Dexis, and dental clinic operations a must.

Duties

- Perform dental hygiene procedures following the dentist's guidance

- Conduct oral health assessments and create treatment plans

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care

- Take digital dental x-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems

- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques

Experience

- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

- State of Iowa licensure as a Dental Hygienist

- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft dental software

- Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures

- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health care

- Prior experience working in a dental clinic is preferred

Hey all!! Wanted to reacquaint everyone with the dentists in our practice.

*Dr. Robert Margeas, our owner, who has been practicing dentistry since 1986, is now working at Iowa Dental Group on a limited basis (6 or so days a month).
*Dr. Nicholas Economos, part owner, who graduated dental school in 2019, is practicing full time. (Mon-Thurs. 8-5)
*Dr. Peter Economos, an associate, who graduated dental school in 2024, is also practicing full time. (Mon-Thurs. 8-5).

It's been a while since we've posted. Happy 2025 all (a month late).

We all thought the weather is great in Iowa.... Dr. Margeas is attending and lecturing in Aruba!! Highs of 85⁰ for him tomorrow!
