Please help us welcome Dr. James Harris to Smile Your Best Dental! Dr. Harris is coming to us from Dowagiac, Michigan. With over 30 years of experience, he has practiced in Minnesota, Washington, and Indiana. Not only does Dr. Harris provide family and cosmetic dental care, but he is also skilled in performing larger procedures including extractions of wisdom teeth, root canals, implants and even IV sedation! Our team (which still includes the front office staff, assistants and hygienists you know and love) is beyond excited to add these new innovative techniques and services to the practice.
Things to know about Dr. Harris… He is a husband (wife, Sylvia) with 3 kids and 3 grand kids. He was born in Hammond and spent his youth in Cedar Lake and Highland. He earned his degree in dentistry at Indiana University. Dr. Harris lives on a farm with a few dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. He even has a small apple orchard. Even though he is a dentist, Dr. Harris has a sweet a tooth and enjoys chocolates. He loves to laugh, so feel free to come in with some jokes! The Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Bulls are some of his favorite sports teams. In his free time, Dr. Harris is an avid fisherman and also is a pilot that enjoys aerobatic flying for fun!
Dr. Harris is currently working on updating some of our equipment and techniques, so bear with us while our staff is adjusting to some new changes to better our patients’ experiences!
