✨TIP OF THE WEEK✨

ENJOY YOUR JUICE + PROTECT YOUR TEETH

It is so refreshing to enjoy a fresh-squeezed juice on a hot summer’s day! While the nutrients are great for your immune system, it’s important to make sure the acid and sugar content doesn’t harm your teeth. So let’s dive into ways that you can enjoy your juice + protect your teeth too!

✨Use a straw to help keep acidic drinks away from your beautiful teeth.

✨Dilute fruit juice with about half water can reduce its potential damage.

✨Rinse with water after drinking juice to wash away any acid and return your saliva’s pH balance to normal.

✨Wait to brush your teeth for at least 30min to an hour so that your saliva can buffer the acid and start remineralizing your enamel.

✨Meet Dr. Yana & Alan Avenilov✨

Two years ago, they moved their family from NYC to make a home in Boca Raton!

Dr. Yana practiced as an associate for various dental practices in South Florida. However, it was her dream to open her own practice one day where she would be able to treat patients with the best optimal care.

Together, they decided it was time to transform her dream into a reality! It started with looking for an ideal space to build a dental office in Delray Beach. 🏝️

After a year of renovation construction, Lux Dental, a family practice for the whole family, opened to welcome patients of all ages!

While Dr. Yana’s focus is to provide patients with the best in dental care. Alan, a CPA, is handling the accounting and business administration side of the practice.

Alan and Dr. Yana are a dynamic duo in the office and at home with their two kids, Leya who is 2.5 years old and Ethan who is 10 months old. On their days off, they absolutely love going to the beach, parks, and play gyms to watch their kids have fun together.

“After the fast paced lifestyle of NYC, we are still adjusting to life in the sunshine state, but we are super excited to be here and serve the community in Delray Beach!” - Dr. Yana
