For 13 years, Kathleen has been the heart of our front office. This week she wrote a letter to our patients, and it is so perfectly her (warm, funny, and full of heart) that we wanted to share it with all of you. 💙

To My Dearest Patients:
"Don't Panic." (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams)
A wise quote, from a wise man, from a book that was equal parts wise as it was funny. I find myself often, in times of sadness, realizing just how important humor is. So I urge you all to laugh a bit with me as I write this announcement.
After thirteen years that seem as long and storied as they do short, I will be departing the amazing team at Semidey Dental. It's been a journey filled with much joy and growth, laughter and tears. Dr. Alex has provided an incredible environment by which to grow both professionally and personally. I've gotten the pleasure of hiring Dr. Tarte twice! And the genuine faces that greet you with an easy smile and kindness now were those who I helped start on their own journey with the practice.
And perhaps, most importantly, it's all of you, my patients, that I've gotten to help guide along your smile journeys. It's been rewarding to help a lot of you, along with the rest of the team here, grow to not hate the dentist quite so much. To look forward to at least the banter in the office while you come in for your routine checkups. To ease your mind as much as possible before a big procedure.

And on that note, I have had the pleasure of assisting in hiring one last genuine, amazing person to take the helm of Semidey Dental.
I am pleased to introduce Robin, who will be carrying on the story and helping make your journey here a pleasant one. Please give her as much patience and understanding as you've given me all these years. She's incredible, capable, and will work hard to continue to make this practice the kind space it has always been.
