CONFESSION TIME… PLEASE READ
I went 7–8 years without seeing a dentist.
I was young. I didn’t think about it. Life was busy… and honestly, I avoided it.
During that time, I ended up with several broken teeth. One in particular was dark, painful, and something I tried not to think about—but it was always there. And if I’m being real, there was some shame that came with it.
Then I got pregnant with my oldest daughter, and for the first time since I became a very young adult, I was able to finally treat some of my teeth.
I remember being nervous walking into that appointment… expecting judgment, lectures, or embarrassment.
But instead?
I was met with kindness. Understanding. Zero judgment.
And that experience stuck with me.
It’s a big part of why we do things the way we do at Schommer Dental.
Because here’s the truth:
Life happens. People fall behind. Fear, finances, busy schedules—it’s all real.
👉 Our job is NOT to lecture you.
👉 Our job is NOT to shame you.

No matter how long it’s been, no matter what’s going on with your teeth—you are welcome here.
We’ve seen it all. We get it. And we’re here for you. ❤️ - Cassie, Insurance Coordinator
