The Patterson dental heritage began with Dr. Patterson's grandfather, who began practicing dentistry in Covington, Georgia in 1937. further inspired Dr. Patterson to continue in the family tradition and attend dental school at Emory University. Following graduation, Dr. Frank Patterson, Jr. established his own dental practice in Dalton, Georgia in 1972. Dr. Hughes grew up as a patient of Dr. Patterson and joined the practice after graduating from the Dental College of Georgia in 2018.
