So, Does Mouthwash Need to Burn?
No.
A burning sensation is not the standard by which you should judge your oral-care routine.

What matters more is choosing products that fit your needs, using them consistently, brushing and cleaning between your teeth, and staying connected with professional dental care.

For families looking for a gentler approach, alcohol-free mouthwash can be a practical part of a simple daily routine.

🦷 BRUSHING HARDER DOESN’T MEAN BRUSHING BETTER.

Too much pressure while brushing can actually damage your smile over time.

⚠️ Brushing too hard may contribute to:
• Enamel erosion — wearing away your tooth’s protective surface
• Tooth sensitivity — increased discomfort from hot, cold, or sweets
• Receding gums — exposing more of the tooth and root
• Gum irritation — soreness, redness, and tenderness

The goal is to remove plaque—not scrub your teeth like a countertop. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush, gentle pressure, and small circular motions for a thorough clean without unnecessary wear.

Don’t Nobody Make Toothpaste Like Texas. 🤠

10/14/2026

We’re not just building a business. We’re building something we pray will last for generations. 🌱🤎

Behind every jar, every order, every market and every long day is a family working together. And sometimes, that means little hands helping around the office, watching, learning and growing right alongside us.

When you support our family-owned business, you’re supporting more than a product. You’re helping us teach the next generation about hard work, responsibility, stewardship and what it means to build something with purpose.

One day, we hope they’ll look back and remember that they were part of it from the beginning.

This is our family. This is our work. This is the legacy we’re building—one generation at a time.

Thank you for supporting Sheer Alternatives and a Texas family-owned business. 🤠🌿

Your mouthwash shouldn’t leave your mouth feeling stripped. 🦷🌿

Alcohol-containing mouthwash can contribute to dry mouth by reducing the moisture your mouth needs for natural protection. For some people, it can also cause burning, irritation, and sensitivity of the gums and oral tissues.

And what about oral cancer? Research has examined a possible association between frequent, long-term use of alcohol-containing mouthwash and oral cancer, but the evidence remains inconclusive. That’s why we don’t believe in using fear—we believe in giving you the facts and offering a gentler alternative.

Our Sheer Alternatives Alcohol-Free Mouthwash was created to freshen your mouth and support your daily oral-care routine without alcohol.

Because that intense burn doesn’t mean it’s working better.
